By integrating both Common Internet File System (CIFS) and Network File System (NFS) protocols, PowerFile allows you to focus on applications and not the back-end storage that supports them.
CIFS
PowerFile appliances can be integrated into any Windows domain with little or no disruption. Our systems leverage your existing Microsoft® Active Directory (AD), Kerberos, or Local Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication services allowing you to quickly and easily manage users, groups, and file share permissions.
NFS
If you have chosen to leverage open standards in your data center, you can easily and non-disruptively integrate our appliances into your storage infrastructure. Our NFS implementation has been masterfully engineered and rigorously tested to ensure stability in even the most complex environments; and with full Network Information Service (NIS) support, network security is a breeze.
